New Generation of African American Philanthropists :: a giving circle promoting philanthropy—the giving of time, talent and treasure—among African Americans in the Charlotte region, with the goal of enhancing the quality of life within our communities. Our joint effort that produced the book Giving Back is the Giving Back Project, a multimedia civic engagement initiatives to reframe portraits of philanthropy.
Planned Parenthood :: one of the nation’s leading providers of high-quality, affordable health care, and the nation’s largest provider of sex education. It offers compassionate care, backed by medical experts and more than 100 years of research in reproductive health.
On Q Performing Arts :: a nonprofit professional theatre company that produces classic, contemporary, and original works that reflect the black experience, especially that of the African American.
Pecha Kucha–CLT :: a creative platform where artists, designers and people from all disciplines engage in unique show-and-tell presentations, producing an exhilarating kaleidoscope of inspiration, ideas and cutting-edge work.
